Research and development

Thesis 22

Universities and research institutions in Germany are to be upgraded to centres of excellence. Adequate funds will be made available for the respective priorities and for research projects at universities.

Thesis 23

Research institutions at universities and in industry should be insulated. To that end federal authorities and research institutions, separated from the internet and all other networks, will be equipped with high-performance networks based on quantum computer technology to secure the management of research projects.

Thesis 24

In conjunction with its European partners, the Federal Republic of Germany will strengthen ESA and urge it to use reusable launchers to maintain its own space bases in support of the international community by 2022. To that end, ESA is authorised to enter into cooperation agreements with all leading suppliers of such systems.

Thesis 25

The Federal Republic of Germany will make Munich, Dresden and Aachen the main aerospace development locations with a view to developing operational gravity propulsion systems within the next 10 years and rendering them commercially viable.

Thesis 26

The Federal Republic of Germany’s research operations will also focus on the extraction of rare earths. Furthermore, energy storage systems will be promoted in research activities (Graphite Nano Box). This involves batteries, alternative energy storage media and wireless energy transmission technologies (Zenneck Wave). In addition, autonomous driving and autonomous flight taxis for lower airspace are to be supported by public funding until they are ready to be launched on the market. Efforts will be made to ensure that the Graphite Nano Box will also be built in Germany. Long-distance energy transmission is to be converted to the Zenneck Wave so that all long-distance transmission lines can be dismantled or used for other purposes in the medium-term.

Thesis 27

Elon Musk’s vision of humanity becoming a multi-planetary species is supported by the Federal Republic of Germany. To ensure that these goals are achieved, an agreement is to be reached with Space X and the United States to the extent that Germany will participate in the first mission in 2024 with 10 star ships, i.e. with 1,000 selected German citizens. The necessary funds will be made available

Thesis 28

With regard to internet expansion and networking, the Federal Republic of Germany must not only ensure nationwide coverage within one legislative period, but also achieve a minimum speed. Cooperation and tariffs for the future are to be negotiated in advance with Starlink.
